Day 43: Could've But Didn't

Last night I could've blogged, but didn't. I wanted to, but I didn't.

I chose to bake a birthday cake for my mom and watch Season 4 episodes of The Office.

So I could've not missed writing about God's goodness, but I decided instead to enjoy one of the greatest gifts of God's goodness to me.

I hung out with my husband.

I could have not missed a day, but I did.

I could get really legalistic about it, but I'm not.

So, I'm thankful for that. Yesterday I could've missed out on a simple evening and become slave to the "to-do's" of legalism, but I didn't.

I could've, but didn't.

Praise the Lord.
